This page brings together, in plain language, the rights you have as a customer shopping on Zedima. It doesn't replace our Terms of Use, Terms of Sale, Privacy Policy, or Warranty Policy — it's a summary of them, with links to the full detail.
You have the right to see accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing before you buy. Products marked with our verified badge are confirmed genuine, not counterfeit or grey-market. If a listing's price or stock was wrong, we'll never charge you the wrong amount to honour it — we'll contact you, correct it, or cancel that line with a full refund.
All prices are shown upfront in Rwandan Francs (RWF), inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, with any delivery fee shown before you pay. There are no hidden charges added at checkout.
You can cancel any order at no cost any time before it's dispatched for delivery, directly from your Orders page. See Terms of Sale §6 for the full policy.
Unopened, unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery, and items that arrive damaged, faulty, or different from what you ordered can be reported within 48 hours for a replacement or full refund — see Terms of Sale §7.
Many products carry a manufacturer or brand warranty in addition to our returns window. If something you bought stops working as it should, our Warranty Policy explains what's covered and how to make a claim.
Approved refunds are issued to the Mobile Money number you paid from, and typically reflect within 5–10 business days depending on your provider — we don't hold refunds back once they're approved.
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and opt out of non-essential marketing messages at any time. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture of what we collect and why, and Section 7 there for how to exercise these rights.
We work with our suppliers to keep counterfeit, unsafe, or unlawful goods off the platform, and we act on reports from customers. If you believe a listing is counterfeit or unsafe, tell us — see Section 10 below.
If something's gone wrong, contact us first at support@zedima.com or through live chat — most issues are resolved directly and quickly this way. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a complaint, you're free to escalate it to Rwanda's consumer protection authorities or pursue it through the courts of Kigali, Rwanda, which have jurisdiction over these terms.
